League FTP Setup/ Team Imports-Exports

Howdy,
Trying to get our leagues FTP server setup. Ideally this will be used for the EXPORTING/IMPORTING of team lineups to help expidite the SIM cycle for the commish.

Here is the problem.
The FTP server is setup and fully operational. I can xfer files back and forth from a command line & from CuteFTP with the 'league' ID.
When I try to Export a team from within OOTP4 (latest patch[c]) I get an EXPORT failed message.
From the FTP logs I can see that the game logs on OK to the Server, is able to CD to the correct directory, and even writes a 0 (zero) length file with the correct name (TEAM6.EXP).

What am I missing?

This problem also continues with OOTP 5.01

I can FTP to the proper dir from the command prompt and put/get files all day, but when I try using the Export Team to FTP from within the game, It writes the file to the server with a 0 length, and gives an error.

Any ideas?

Are you sure that the "online league settings" within the game are correct?

What do you mean by correct?
I have the Host name correct, the user name & password correct, and the initial directory & port number are correct. Am I missing something?
Test the COnnection comes back OK, and then if I proceed to Export Team via FTP, I can tell via the Win2k Log files that ootp connects correctly, and signs on just fine, it even opens the file, but then stops, leaving a 0 length file with the correct team name (team6.exp)

From the same pc, I can open a command prompt (a/k/a a Dos Box) and can connect just fine from the command line, and Put/Get files just fine.
I can also succesfully put/get files useing CuteFTP.

Does the OOTP software use additional IP ports other than 21?
