"Finalizing" hang
I am experiencing a hang when trying to load. I have played through 12 seasons without problem, but attempted to load, it reaches 100 percent of the database and never brings me to the game menu. I have searched the tech forum and found nothing applicable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am using XP Home. The game version is 2.0.2.53. Thank you in advance, Jason |

First, could you try upgrading to version 2.0.3.68 and see if that works?
Second, could you check your .lg saved game folder to see if any of the .dat files have a size of 0 kB? Third, can you try loading up a different league to see if that works? If you don't have one, try quickly creating a test one. |

Thanks for your reply. I truly appreciate the help.
I installed the latest update, none of my .dat files are at 0, and my other leagues work fine, but I am still hanging at 100 percent. Any other ideas? Thanks again, Jason |

Did you experience any crashes or did your computer unexpectedly shut down at any point recently while playing or saving this league that won't open?
Try disabling FaceGen, then opening up the league. |

Yes, it did actually. My laptop shut down, but the game was not saving or simulating at this point. Unfortunately, I was not there when it happened so I cannot attest to why it shut down.
I am editing this post as the game snapped out of it. The FaceGen feature must have done the trick. Thanks s much for your help. You have helped me save many many game hours. Nutlaw rocks! Last edited by Townicus; 04-16-2008 at 09:01 PM. |

You can also try running FaceGen in one of the troubleshooting modes, if you want to attempt to restore that functionality.
I'm glad that things worked out for you.
