New League: CyB

I am new to the OOTP boards but I am not new to the game. I have enjoyed it all the way back in it's early days when I was in college. I have enjoyed the online aspect of it and have decided to partner up with someone else and run a league. Here is the details:

General Info
- League name: Cyber Baseball League (CyB)
- League URL: Home - CBL
- League type (historical, fictional, etc): Real (Cubby's set)
- Special league rules: Pretty straight forward, we do have a League Activity Point System (LAPs) that we will be using to promote league activity. These points can be used to better your franchise (ie: Fan interest). We will also imply a winter league as well.
- Number of teams: 30
- OOTP version: OOTP 8 or 2007

We will sim Mon., Wed, Fri

Game Settings
Games Played: 162
Coaches and Scouts: Disabled
Feeder Leagues: Enabled
2 College Leagues (4 yr and JUCO)
1 High School
Ammy Draft: Held in the off season (20 Rounds)
Trade Deadline: July 31st
DFA/Waivers: Enabled
DFA = 21 Days
Waivers = 14 Days
Option Years: Enabled
Overall Ratings: Stars
Actual Ratings: 1-10
Potential Ratings: 1-10
Other Ratings: 1-10
Show Rating Over Max: No, Cut off
Salary Cap: None
Cash Cap: $50,000,000
Finances: Match real MLB counterpart
Rule V Draft: On

We currently have 16 owners signed up, 14 remain. A number of good teams still out there. We have also added 3 levels of Feeder leagues, NCAA D1, JUCO, and High School. In total we have about 170 real colleges and high schools added. Should be a blast, visit our site today.

After 3 sims we currently have 4 openings (Teams that have yet to exort). Some of these teams are pretty solid.

They are:
Seattle (12-8)
LA Angels (11-8)
Atlanta (11-8)
Arizona (6-13)

The league has been very active so far. We sim on Mon, Wed, and Fri

We currently have 3 openings:
Chicago White Sox 21-29
Kansas City Royals 25-25
LA Dodgers 21-29

Each of these 3 teams have some talent they just have been completly neglected. A good active owner can turn these teams around. We are about to start voting for the all star teams within the next few days so jump on in on the action today.
