Home Run Heaven:Champs from a century of baseball

Im starting this because i TOTALLY LOST my Barry Bonds dynasty, but this one will end up featuring barry bonds but it will take awhile, i will start in 1901 and track players that have or are close to having the most home runs in history, mostly the top 10, as you see in my username Dynastyman i will most likely ALWAYS have a dynasty going

if you dont understand what i plan to do or want to ask me a question just ask

Pre 1901

Jimmy Ryan 105 RETIRED

Jimmy ryan is the home run king currently but probably not for long he retired over the offseason and has the next man i mention right on his tale

Hugh Duffy 104 Millwaukee Brewers

Hugh is right on the tale of retired home run king Jimmy Ryan, expect Duffy to take over in the month of april or may, he has a starting role in milwaukee and bats 4th

Herman Long 86 Boston Beaneaters

Herman is 19 off of Ryan and dont expect him to reach him in 1901 as only one player has ever hit more than 12 homers in a season. He plays SS and bats 4th for boston

Ed Delahanty 82 Philadelphia Phillies

Ed is 23 off of ryan and it will take him an estimated 2-3 seasons to reach the mark based on previous years numbers, he is 33 years old so he does have time

These are the only players i will chronicle this year as these are the only ones that have even the slightest chance to reach Ryan this year

New Home Run King

April 28th,1901 Baltimore---Milwaukee Brewers Left Fielder Hugh Duffy became the new home run king on Saturday when he hit a 2 run Home run off of Baltimore Orioles Pitcher Ike Butler who dished the 2-1 count home run in the 6th inning.

This home run was the 106th of his 15 year career, this home run bolted him past Jimmy Ryan for the all time home run lead
