Hopefully it isn't too simple looking.
I tried drawing 3 C's to make it look like the baseball was in motion and such nonsense. Anywho... Last edited by lloydbentsen; 10-26-2007 at 02:32 PM. |

Interesting. Not that there's anything wrong with the first one, because really, what can you do with a 'Civics' logo....but I really like how the last 2 turned out, in particular the Skippers logo. Good job.

Sorry for not responding sooner.
I just lost my hard drive and everything on it. I don't think it will be able to be saved. A lot of it is backed up here on my wife's computer. I had just finished totally redoing the Names Database, but didn't back it up. Oh, well, things could be a lot worse than just losing a computer. At least I have some beautiful new logos. Thank you very much, lloydbentsen. They are outstanding logos...especially the Skippers. You really did them well. Great designs and excellent color combinations. Skippers, Mariners and Pelicans are all excellent. Skippers is great logo. Really like the script letters. Pelicans is mighty fine, too. If you don't mind, I have several requests. Could you center the "Mariners" letters? It is just a little too far left. Centering the "I" on the south compass point would even it up, I think. Would it be possible not to have "Mariners" overlap the compass point and place it below the compass? Could you make them 150 x 150? I realize it is difficult to come up with a logo for the Civics. It is very well done and very creative, but a little too modern for me. I'm still stuck in the '50s as far as logos. Could you just do something basic...like a circle logo with Central City in the upper half of the circle and Civics in the lower half. Maybe include an action image in the center section with a batter swinging...or just put a Big CC in the middle of the logo and use a fancy font. Thanks again for a splendid job. ![]() ![]() ![]() Resized and corrected, I think. Central City has a white border where the lettering sits, but it may not be not be apparent with the white background of the forum. Hopefully your computer will be nicer to you. Many times much of content of a bad hard drive can be recovered using another computer. It's been years since I have done it so I wouldn't be of any help, but I remember working in IT and getting important files off of fried hard drives occasionally. So don't give up too easily, especially if there is something more important than OOTP stuff on it. (blasphemy, I know. )

Excellent job on the Central City Civics. It really looks great. Thanks for the resizing and the revision. Thanks for four fine logos. You do beautiful work. A computer repair place is going to try to backup my data for me. Hope it works...sure hate to have to redo the Name Database. Last edited by Eugene Church; 10-28-2007 at 02:13 AM. |
