Because it was dumb, almost as dumb as "Orlando Tony and Dawn."

I would have acknowledged him if he had put it this way: "Or, Lando Calrissians." As presented, it was mundane, predictable, flat, hard to Google.

I'm trying to help you here. Eriq is notoriously obscure and we've been working for years at mainstreaming him. All I suggest is that you try to be a bit more lenient with him as he tries to normalize, as I believe supportive criticism will be more warmly received by Eriq than if he is made to feel threatened.

Thank goodness we have search engines in browser toolbars now. Back in the old days, we didn't have that and there were many threads left hanging on the internet while people opened up new browser windows (TABBED BROWSING ROX!).

Then there were the dark days before interwebs. You can still see the lack of humor searches in cultures like the modern day Amish.

Gastric, I have spent all of five minutes, my entire attention span, in Googling portions of your message, without success.

Yeah, that one deserved to be knocked. In fact, it was so bad, it deserved more than one knock. Perhaps that should be knocked three times.
