RUNTIME ERROR in continuing a saved game
Now when I try to opn and continue a saved game it gives me a runtime error. Can someone help with this?

After opening OOTP, it takes me to the screen where you can start a new game open a saved game etc. When I select continue with a saved game, which happens to be an online league, it proceeds to open it. I'm not sure if it ever finishes but after some time it gives a statement saying that C ++ runtime error commands the program to shutdown. IT is the .exe file.

Trying to help this guy get his game working, should probably add the detail that the rest of the league is able to open the file without any problems.
Also, this is the only league he is having a problem with, the file doesn't work for him, works for everyone else and his other leagues work fine too. He has tried uninstalling/reinstalling, different .zip programs and other things and it just won't work. Stops at aroun 56 percent loading most of the time. Same problem here, Problem continues even after completely uninstalling and reinstalling. Also now any new game locks up and crashes when I try to click on a Oranizations pitching tab.

I'm very sorry your issue has sat here for so long without a response. Us volunteers are a little on the burnt-out side right now! That's not an excuse, though, but let's see if we can make some progress, if you're still around after all this time... First off, doebo1 are you still having this issue? Can you please verify which version of the game you are using, from the main page of the game, lower left corner? Is the game installed in the default location, or did you install it somewhere else? Finally, what operating system do you have? Thanks! Steve |
