imo just pure luck as he meant it as a cross, best goals imo would be, individual Maradona 86 World Cup v England although you could add Messi's goal the other week as it was a carbon copy of Maradona's goal, team goal Brazil 70 World Cup v Italy. Ronaldo scored a great goal in La Liga for Barca years ago but never been able to find it.

I was in a German pub at the time with people from all over the world and when we saw it live everyone of every nationality went crazy

Yup, that's what's makes it so special.

In my opinion it's of course a very beautiful goal, but I don't hold it in high regard becouse it's such a stupid thing to do. If you want to score or do a good cross, kick it lke normal, doing a thing like this si just a very poor football move result wise normaly. Ok now they were up 3-0 when he did this, but still it's a stupid move to make, just pure luck it went in.
