Stat Printing

Never played this game--will download tomorrow. I would liek to be able to print stats. Is there an option for that in game or an easy way to export individual team stats to excel or some other program?

There are some easy ways.

One is to get the stat report you want. Then click "Open in external browser" which opens Internet Explorer. Then click print.

Or

You can do the same thing, and use your mouse to highlight all the stats you want, right click and then select COPY, then PASTE into Excel. I use this option daily.

I'll show you an example:

You see Ramirez's career stat block?

I copied it from his HTML page, pasted it into Excel, edited it just a little bit, then used the paste special feature in Word and pasted it as an Excel object.

Lovely text, but all of what I assume were supposed to be numbers have been replaced by tiny blank squares.

Nice try, though.

Hmm...odd. the numbers came up fine for me.

Very nice work Raidergoo. I like the magazine-like article

I think you have issues, perhaps with Adobe Acrobat Reader. I make these news articles about once a week for my online league, and pass them around to about 30 guys.

What Acrobat Reader are you using?

LOVED IT!!!

But - shouldn't the K's in the storyline for the current season be 8 - not 17. I think the 17 were his SB... otherwise Brilliant.....

7.0.9, but clicking on that link doesn't open it in Adobe, it opens it in Preview. (I wish I could say the same about the Game Guide. Preview is a much friendlier format than Adobe.)

You ever tried Foxit reader, Curtis? You might like it better than Adobe.

There are also several .csv files in the data dumps that can give you different slices of stats for individuals, teams, and leagues. Take 15-30 minutes to scan through those and I'm sure you can find about everything you could want.

I bet I was looking at his 2011 stats. Oops.

Glad you liked it. My online lg has a mandatory news article of one story a season. I just go a little farther.

If you are using microsoft works and not excel you will get the odd shaped symbols also. Works looks similiar to excel but two different programs.

Sorry if you are using excel just posted because it happened to me once.
