Syd Thrift's favorite one...it is sort of growing on me. I don't know if it made the production release. |

On a related note, it would be nice if the back and forward buttons on my mouse would function within the game. I don't know how hard this would be to do, but I always find myself hitting the back button on my mouse, and it takes me a minute to realize why the screen hasn't moved.

I'm just into the fifth inning of my first game on 2007, and I have to say that I am really impressed by the improvement I've seen in the Play by Play.... much smoother and more natural feeling than in 2006... and I really like that the game starts with a little intro like it did in 5, 6, and 6.5 instead of immediately jumping to the first pitch.... thanks to tysok and everyone that has worked on this end of the game!!!
Thank God I don't have to work again until next week...

Aww, man..no H2H?? I want a refund!!
First impression is the game is awesome. I've already imported my OOTP 2006 league and played a game. Features look great. Combines everything great about 6.5 and the depth of V2006. Markus...A job very well done and thank you for providing me another infinity of hours of enjoyment in the future. Now my wife is really going to be mad at you I think I'll uninstall V2006 since I don't think I'm going to need it, and I do need the hard drive space.

Yeah...it's like 2006 was a one bedroom shanty with an outhouse then Ty Pennington showed up and turned it in to a 5 bedroom mansion for 2007.

I did have one other question too - how much extra disk space overhead would it take to create and store a league full of faces, versus having no pictures at all? Obviously, I'm looking for more of a percentage figure here, since the actual size would vary based on how deep the league is, and how long it runs for... Thanks, and enjoying the game so far! |

WOW!
Can't say enough about the current version. Everything I expected and more. Only one MAJOR ISSUE - I don't like the faces it creates for my Managerial Profile. Every time I request a new face they all come out LOOKING TOO DAMN OLD!!!! JK Love it no major problems - just one minor one when I deleted my universe and it keeps showing up in the load games lists even though there is not a folder for it any longer in the saved games folder. Fixed it by creating a new universe, this over wrote the user.dat file and now everything is fine and my first universe is gone...... Speed wise this game is much faster than 2006, that was a major turnoff for me last year. Now I just need to see how it runs after I get a few seasons in..... I do plan on getting a new PC soon so the speed issue will not matter then. |

Joe Morgan commenting on Moneyball:
Joe: Why would I wanna read the book? All I'm saying is, I see a game every day. I watch baseball every day. I have a better understanding about why things happen than the computer, because the computer only tells you what you put in it. I could make that computer say what I wanted it to say, if I put the right things in there. ... The computer is only as good as what you put in it. How do you think we got Enron?
