I'm jealous, BTW. I get 7 holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, and no sick days or floating holidays. When they shut down for a 4 day weekend for Thanksgiving, I get paid for Thursday but not Friday.
21 vacation days a year, 14 sick days a year and an assorted bunch of holidays and other mishmash. But I work at a community college.

I told my boss that I wasn't going to come in on Friday because I wanted to play OOTP. He said that if I wasn't here Friday, don't bother coming in Monday! Whoo hoo! 4-day weekend.

Just left a job of 10 years due to downsizing where I had 35 PTO days last year. That's 7 weeks vacation, folks. The new job I just started: 7 days for the entire first year. 7 weeks to 1 week is just heartbreaking.

8am GMT is 1am in the US. Does that mean it'll be a late night?

Haha..or it could mean 1am GMT...which would mean that it could be arriving 5pm PST..I'm not getting my hopes up, but I'll definitely be crossing my fingers...

Ha, ha, your boss is the best!!!

I've already started dropping hints around the office that my hot water heater might burst on Friday morning.

Well, as we all know middle earth is somewhere in the middle, so I would say sometime between second breakfast and third lunch.

since I run my own home business here, I have decided to give myself a week's vacation, funny how it will start when the game is released.

Except that we're all on Daylight Time. Add an hour to all those estimates.

Do you guys think they do this on purpose, not setting an exact time for download?

Now that the game is done they can just sit back and watch threads like this and laugh at us fools guessing at times from 1am to 8am or 1pm etc.

It's gotta be entertaining to say the least.

If you move the date and time on your computer, the download link will appear.

Yes, this is Duffy's Christmas, tormenting all of us about when he will release the game, he only gets to have this much fun two or three times a year.

And shouldn't this have been a poll....
