JOBL looking for two owners
The JOBL is a 20-team fictional league entering the 2026 season in need of two owners. One is a starting a rebuilding effort (Atlanta) and one is not (Virginia), but may need some work before the regular season begins.
We've been around since 2002 and have a ton of history under our belt: http://www.jobl.net/history/leagues/index.html We've got some great owners and rivalries going, so if you are interested shoot me an email with the following: -Name -Primary email -AIM (not required to have, but if you do please send it) -Leagues you are currently in -Which team you would prefer Thanks! Jason,
Thought it over hard... and decided against it. Good luck on finding someone.

Boo.... Seriously though folks, this is a great league with some great owners. Teams are only open because the commish wisely dumped 1 guy with an attitude problem and one who basically hosed himself financially and couldn't sack up and deal with it (the team has been given financial help by "the league"). Take over a team and c'mon down!

I was involved with this league for a couple of seasons. The owners are great and the league is well run.

I was the Washington owner for three seasons but had to step down for lack of time. The JOBL is an entertaining league with a solid group of owners. If you're looking for a stable, well established league, this is the one for you.

Bumpity. Still looking for two...
And thanks for all the kind words from former owners! We're currently in the off-season, so it's a great time to jump on board. Atlanta just got SS Steven McCracken through the Ammy Draft, which should be a nice addition to the rebuilding effort there... Virginia should compete for the playoffs this season, but you'll need to do some work to get under our salary cap in the future (you'll get an exemption this season)... The cap is currently at $95M and should be in the high 80's next season. (We're gradually implementing a salary cap/floor in the league, which should make off-season free agency more interesting and team management more challenging.) Anyway, two challenges -- one from each direction!

Wow, this is a great league. We're in our 25th or so season and Jason is a top notch commish. There's a great group of owners who are pissing me off because I haven't been able to win a championship recently. Competition is fierce! Come on over to the league site and check it out. The HOF vote just went up on our forums.
If you haven't tried online leagues yet and are interested in a 6.5 league, the JOBL is great for newbies. It was my first league and the rest of the owners were great in helping me learn the ropes. Quote:
