Hey, aren't expansion teams supposed to roll over and be beaten like rented mules?

Congrats guys!

Yes, your right I forgot that SAL had won a match. Also, congrats to Bronx for pulling the upset.

Yeah, but my victory doesn't count for much since it was over an expansion team. The next week I got stomped by the Hilltoppers and barely scored half the points against them as I did against the expansion team.

Thanks for the applause my friends. Damn, I had a good feeling about this week, but nothing like this: Roy stays undefeated, Bushy wins a title, Izzy finally wins a bout, Krogh goes his usual 1 for 2, and Denver ED...I have a feeling he going to fail the post fight steroid test but hell, I'll take the wins.
Congrats as well to the other teams who pulled out victories this week.
Winning or losing, this league is turning out to be a lot of fun.

My hat's off to Left Jab Inc. Job well done. I thought I might have an advantage going into this one having 3 more points on my cap and some experienced veterans as well.
I'm a little disappointed in my HW's as they went 0-4 and the trade for Gatti to add some power to the team appears to be a big flop.
Congrats once again Hugh, enjoy the victory.

I'm now 0-4 against the Beavers with three of the losses being blowouts. I think it's safe to say that BigMatt and his boys flatout own us. This is the second fight in a row that my heavier weightclasses haven't done anything for me. Williams and Gonzalez might have seen their last days as Muckboys and if Bettina and Siki don't shape up they might be joining them on the unemployment line.

Thanks Sal. Well,finally got win number one(could be the last..lol). Well,a lot of the fights look like they could have went either way. Good game Sal. I think you have a pretty good team to build on. Hopefully,we can both make a little noise next year as our fighters mature. Who knows with a few upsets already, maybe we can make a few of the vets sweat a little this season..lol. Thanks again for your time and effort that makes this possible. Good job.

I was suprised with my smaller fighters. I kinda figured you would dominate the lighter weights. I won a few that were probably flukes. Alicea and Ruelas had not given me much hope coming in to this one. See ya later my friend.

Once again, the Beavers are the class of the West Division and Gold Conference. I guess the rest of us are going to have to re-tool our teams just for them (wishful thinking)

As a side note, I'm wondering how many sleepless nights the Mick had prior to this match knowing that he had to defend his title against Brent Cooper and Ike White. Glad to see the champ rose to the challange.

Congrats on your first win. As the first expansion owner to ever win a match, I know what it feels like.

Wow - the Beavers are definitely hot so far this season.

Several candidates for figher of the week..Torpedo Billy Murphy, Zab Judah and stalwart Eddie Cotton lead the parade, all whipping higher ranked foes. The Mick deserves consideration despite dispatching two tomato cans, as he advances to prime (woohoo). One who WON'T be in contention for a repeat award this week is Rodolfo Martinez, who lost twice, once in an embarrassing DQ. We'll go with Cotton, who has been a loyal Beaver from day 1.

Condolences to Romy - I know those two Muckboy LHW's and WW's are much better than that...

Oh, and one more thing... ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!

So far a very disappointing season for Juggernaut. I did'nt have quite the expectations for my team the a few other team owners did, but I expected it to be a bit better then it is.

Total disappointment so for;

Floyd Mayweather Sr. - After a close run at rookie of the year last season Floyd is off to an 0-5-1 record.

Fan%$#@!&?tastic;

Ken Norton - Undeafeated as heavyweight champ!!!
