2 bugs

OPTION YEAR BUG:
sometimes players are out of options with only a year on the secondary roster; they should only run out if they have three years on the 40 man roster.

MINOR LEAGUE FREE AGENT BUG
Also, the team releases minor league free agents (who don't have major league salaries) even if they are on the secondary roster. This is wrong and should be corrected.

Well, that depends. They might have been on the secondary roster for parts of three different years.

Alternatively, I think I've seen inaugural draft-created players with unlikely combinations of 40-man roster time and used options. Does that apply to your players, by chance?

No it doesn't apply. The total time listed for the players in question was 1 year, 7 days. They shouldn't be out of options, but then I have other players who are fine. Just kind of odd. I am playing with the new patch, league started with the new patch, purely fictional too. Odd

I'm very sorry it's taken me so long to get to this thread.

I can well imagine that you've long since given up on this issue. However, if you're still interested in following up on it, please let me know. I haven't been able to reproduce this issue over here, so if you want to work on this further, it would be most helpful if you could link us to a player profile (or post screenshots) of someone who was so affected.

We have a rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
