bogus spring training stats
Problem: Inaugural draft has been held, and spring training is about to begin. NO spring training games have been played, yet some players already have some spring training stats. It is difficult to discern any pattern to the stats already in place, as they vary in numbers of games and ABs.
These aren't supposed to be CAREER spring training stats by any chance, are they? They don't look like that, either. Severity: Not a big deal, as long as it is limited to spring stats. If these guys really had those ABs in some other dimension, well, that's just some more I know about them. But if the problem crops up again with regular season stats, then it'll sure dampen things. I had a problem a few weeks ago (different league) with some bogus regular season stats. Posted it here, but it got stale and didn't get examined. Background: The players were imported from Arod-Garlon random debut. I simmed four seasons to add some league history and accumulate more players, then released them all to an inaugural draft. Thus begins our game. Last edited by Mr. Capo; 08-19-2006 at 04:27 PM. |

Are you using the last patch? In previous patches these kinds of things happened every now and then for some reason, but I haven't seen it in this last patch. And it was always JUST in spring training too, if it's the same problem you needn't worry about the regular stats.
I've never used a roster set though, always with purely computer generated fictional players. |

Sorry this went so long without a reply, Mr. Capo.
Did you ever figure out what the problem was, or is this still an issue?

We have a rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this. If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!) Steve |
