Fantasy Dynasty League

Hello all, I just created a Dynasty fantasy baseball league if anyone is interested in joining post here or PM me. For those of you not familar with fantasy dynasty leagyes leagues its a league based on real life mlb players. Like normal fantasy baseball. Except you keep your whole team from year to year. Meaning its good to draft young guys and prospects if you want to build for the future. This will be a 20 team league with 25 man rosters, much like a real MLB team. With each team having a 5 man minor league system.

These 5 players are any player not in the yahoo database (since we are drafting through yahoo, whoever is in their database is eligable to be drafted in the regular team draft)If one of your 5 minor leaguers gets called up to the majors, nobody will be allowed to pick this player up once he enters the yahoo database. Once this player gets put into the yahoo database. The team that owns his rights from the prospect draft has a couple of options.
1) Pick up the player and drop someone off their 25 man roster

2) Leave the player on his minor league roster and nobody will be allowed to pick him up. I would like to get some more ideas on #2. I was thinking this will only be allowed for the current season. IE if you choose not to activate your minor leaguer and leave him on your minor league roster and not the major league you can keep him there till the season ends. Once the next season starts you will have to choose to leave this player off your 25 man roster and make him a FA or drop someone off your 25 man roster and add him.

3) Post you dont want to player and let him become a W or FA, freeing up one of your minor league spots.

There will be a minor league draft every season. You can only have a max of say 5 minor leaguers or whatever the final number is. Right now Im leaning towards 5. So each yeah you can choose to release any number of your 5 minor leaguers and draft new ones. You can contine to keep all 5 and draft nobody if you choose.

Your whole 25 man roster is to be kept year to year. In this type of league waiver priority is a big asset to have as guys come out of no where to be stars. You have 30 players total, 25 from the yahoo database and then 5 prospects. Each year you have the opportunity to stock up on your 5 prospects in some of them happen to be called up.

I really like these leagues because you really need to know your baseball to be successful. Alot better than the common 10 team fantasy leagues where every player is a superstar. Just to clear one thing up, theres a fantasy draft to start the league out. You wont be starting with a current MLB roster. It will be real MLB players and real MLB stats but a fantasy draft to start.

Theres 5 or so spots opne. come on people. Give one of these leagues a try. They are great fun and very similar to sim leagues. There is a minor leagure portion of the league as well which will be done through a message board since yahoo doesnt offer it.

Its based on the yahoo fantasybaseball. Theres a league ID and password. I have 14 teams right now and 20 is the max.
