Crash Davis still around... and looking for owners!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the league formerly known as the Crash Davis Baseball League is still in action. However it has been renamed the Billy Chapel Baseball League. The league is currently going into its 17th season, that is 5 years of CDBL/BCBL history. The boards are pretty much very active with political, sports, and the latest BCBL happenings. So if you like to sound off with opinions you will enjoy the message board.

What's on tap? Well, new owners need to take a look at their roster and name a franchise player. If all goes according to plan we would love to start the off-season 2016 by Sunday night.

It's a great league folks. I'd suggest anyone looking to join one of the best long-standing leagues around should check it out.

Do you have a poster of Kevin Costner or something? I think it would be fun if someone could edit some footage showing Billy Chapel pitching to Crash Davis on Ray Kinsella's field.

On the top right hand corner of the web-site we do have a picture of both Chapel and Davis. Nothing too big, but a little something to bring the two era's together.

Sporr, unfortunately you know its bad when you have to come back to the same thread and add to the available list

But we will just hang in with it.

I have a bunch of High Heat refugees that are finally jumping ship. I'll take all your teams with these friends of mine. We all want to experience OOTP and grow together, though I know it pretty well already. E-mail has been sent. BTW, I'll take the Astros if that's OK. Buddy Blaine wants the Cubs.

have to leave for the night, but I have two more owners that want teams, just haven't seen them on AIM tonight. I do want these other slots if I can get them, should be able top post no later than tomorrow night for the slots.
