Zito looking like Zito tonight. Too bad the hitters can't get much offense going.

Not worried at all.

The middle of the order cant hit this bad all season. Once those bats come around this team should be good for a classic win streak.

I think my favorite ones are when Blanton and Haren visit Zito in the clubhouse and Swish emulates Crosby.

Harden helped my fantasy team for sure. Perhaps a cy young canidate, or is too premature?

No its not to premature. He's legit and its only a matter of time until he wins one. Some run support would definitely help his cause though.

The Mariners have a clever Home Shopping Network theme where the players are selling various things "The Tag" (Miguel Olivo tagging you out), "The Pep Talk" (Hargrove saying words of encouragement), etc. The Pirates also have a clever commercial where the players are looking through a buffet. Each tray has a bunch of baseballs and they're all labeled with different pitch types. One of the Pirates (Wilson or Bay) says he wants some hanging curveballs.

I really like the Zito/Blanton/Haren commerical. It's probably my favorite so far. "Think he ever pitched to The Babe?" is a classic line.

I really like the one with Harden, Chavvy and the cop. I about died when Chavvy comes over and says "did he say nineties, dude you were throwing at least 100+". Harden's "you're not helping" look is priceless.

And Chavez's reaction to the cop saying "Do you two know each other?" is equally priceless.

Who knew the A's had a bunch of actors? I wish they'd act like they knew what to do with runners in scoring position.

Very nice to get this win! I would have been happy with just one game this series, but winning a series against LAAoA is quite an accomlishment.

Scutaro is the man, Ginter should pack his bags and leave.

I wonder if Ginter has minor league options left. I have no clue what his situation is since he didn't come from our organization. I'd definitely dump Ginter when Crosby comes back, but Scutaro might end up as a victim of a technicality.

Am I missing something?? Ginter is younger and has been much better than Scutaro in the past. You're ready to give up on him after 30 PA's?
