Well, as I mentioned in my previous *** facepack thread, this is the side-project where I was trying to put together 2005 *** logos (total of 12 teams).

Hi,

This is a add-on logo set specifically created for OOTP and a tribute to *** ([league redacted]; Japanese Pro Ball League).

And this is also my second attempt to in add-on logo set creation.

This logo set is a collection of *** 2005 logos for entire 12 *** teams in both Central League and Pacific League. The source of the logo is the *** official website and *** and individual teams own the copyright to all these logos. In v1.1, the source logos are also from Konami's PROYAKYU baseball game website and various team websites.

Also, I have include an alternative logo for Orix Buffaloes since they do not seem to use the one that's on ***'s website. This alternative logo is from Orix Buffaloes's website.

Note: In v1.1, I have also added a 2004 *** logo set as a bonus!

There are acutally five version of the logos. They are made to satistify potentially different 'tastes'.

- 2005 *** high-resolution logos

- 2004 *** high-resolution logos

- *** low-res logos

This is the close-up pure logos in v1.0.

- *** framed logos

This is pure logos with frames. The logo frame is the same logo frame used by OOTP default logos.

- *** logos with names

This is logos with team names.

Note: The source picture of the logo is actually smaller than the OOTP default logo size (150X150). Due to this reason, all the logos are enlarged and sharpened a bit. Still, the image is not very sharp and the color is not very vibrant when compared to the original. However, I believe this is about the best balance between improving sharpness and retaining original color after enlarging.

Note: The small size source logo is no longer much of a problem in v1.1.

Besides the three sets of logos, I have also included a *** league logo as an alternative OOTP league icon/logo. The default file (logosmall.bmp) is located in the \graphic\ folder in the OOTP6 installation directory. If you want to use this *** logo, just copy and paste over the default. (And backup the original if you choose so)

Though I really do wish that I had larger size source logos to work with. Larger size source logos would have resulted in end products with much better quality. Again, for people who may not feel satisfied with the not-so-optimal quality of the logos, I sincerely apologize.

Well, I continued my search for high resolution source logos and I finally found them! The logos are now much clear/shaper so it doesn't look as blurry as before.

The high resolution logos are found on Konami's PROYAKYU SPIRITS series website (Konami's console baseball game). Also, as an added bonus, I have also included a 2004 logo set. What's so different between 2004 and 2005? Well, one got a new owner, two team got combined, and a new team is added after 2004. So the collection of 2004 is not exactly the same as 2005. Anyway, hope you can enjoy them better this time around. Thanks!
