Facepacks and templates-fictional players
Hello,
I just want to play at home. I have installed mlb logos for each team....but, I want to play with fictional players. Is there a template program someone made where I can get facepacks for fictional players, and change uniform colors, and import a hat logo for the Cubs, for instance? Thanks for your help. michael1j1 |

I am revisiting this thread... Is there anyone out there who knows how to create player templates. Cutting and pasting is very time consuming.
Thanks Michael1j1 |

Im not really the one who knows this kind of stuff but it would a great thing for someone to make, a facepack that is more customizable when it comes to logos and uniforms.

Facegen Players.....
If anyone is interested, I am working on a facegen set of fictional players. There would be 16 different (home) uniform designs and 16 different road designs. There are no logos on the cap or uniforms. My idea was to release this as a useable, as is set, so that the end user can simply create a logo and cap logo that can be pasted on his players as needed.......
The set was designed to have 100 players in each design (3200) to start but was looking to add more to eventually get up to about 150 players per set. The set would not be released with p1-p3200 but in folders by uniform design so that players can decide to put similar unis on one team or to just randomly put them into one folder. |

The heads are there, and the uniforms are there, but no complete fictional player sets made of these.......so those without photoshop or printshop pro are SOL.... |

I have photoshop, but zero ability to use it - so I am of no help.
I too would love to get my hands on a "full" set of fictional faces in these templates |

I've been considering purchasing Photoshop for just this express purpose. I have a league in which I'm up to the 2040's, and I've been flirting with the idea of taking it online sooner or later. I've experimented with a few trial editions of CS before, but it's just one of those things where I keep going back and forth on.

If you're making 3200 heads, it would be great if you could save those in a seperate file. They could be downloaded seperately and used with the Deft template to make custom player pics for guys who want to make player pics in a custom uniforms. We've only got a couple hundred "heads" now. This would be a great contribution.

On the second - I was going to put out the faces in PSP format like the Bag'O'Heads also for those who want to do it themselves. My only concern was that I take a head and make 4-6 different faces with it. My numbering system is basically ZXXX, where Z is face#, and XXX is face template 001-999. After I get to 1000 templates I start numbering from 00A. Simply if I like a face call it face 100) and make 5 heads from it, the newly create faces would be 1100, 2100, 3100, 4100, 5100. It is pretty amazing how just adding hair, tinting the skin tones, and skewing the head slightly can create players that are different....without recreating a seperate new face in facegen for all players.......some users would not want to have the "same" template in their set..... I will release the faces as well as a the roster/team fictional set as soon as I complete enough of them and have them uploaded to the OOTP Download Center. |
