Work has begun... [feedback request]

...on my 2005 Facepacks.

I am pondering some changes this year, but I haven't made any firm decisions (this thread would be an EXCELLENT place to provide feedback).

I will definitely doing a posed set - that's relatively quick and painless to do with the program I've written. Basically, once MLB updates all their mugshots towards the end of Spring Training, I just fire up my program, hit a button, and download all the pics. It's still a bit of work to create and manage the database to keep this all going, but that work is mostly done now anyway. This set will be free and should be released on opening day.

As for the action photos? I had contemplated not doing them at all this year, as it is a TON of work - well over 100 hours is spent on getting the action photos together. Which is why I'm considering asking for a small donation to download this set (by "small", I'm thinking a buck...maybe less).
Anyway, I haven't made any firm decision on this...I'm anxious to hear community feedback on this.

Sure, I wouldn't mind. Might raise some legal issues, however.

It would be completely worth it for me - I'd like an action set in addition to the posed ones, but I imagine the 15 year olds under mom & dad's checking account will flame you, even with the posed set being free.

Well, you could sell the info for the website download for the pics on ebay.

I would pay.... its an awesome facepack. How the heck does your program extract the posed pics from the MLB websites? I know nothing about programming but it seems like a huge task.

BTW, Markus-
If DraftDodger can make a program to suck the photos off disparate websites, can't you integrate drag and drop logos into OOTP???? Please!

I don't think it'd be that hard, especially if you knew what you're doing.

Just curious, does OOTP still have that problem with case-sensitivity when showing photos on the HTML reports?
