Importing Historic Roster

I am hoping to start a custom league with a draft using some sort of historical database. I don't want to start at a specific year, but would rather have a huge database of players to choose from so I can have Ruth, Aaron, Bonds, Williams, Mantle, and even the Negro Leaguers togeather.

IS there a way to do this? I am not sure where to import the files too....

I downloaded one file from Rosterdevelopmentgroup.com and set it up as a league but everytime I load, OOTP crashes.....

I would appreciate and and all help.

BTW, I am running OOTP 6 on XP......
