Anybody got anything, at all, of a pitcher named Bill "Sugar Bear" Daniels? Non-roster guy at the A's camp in 1972, anointed "the next Vida Blue" and manager Dick Williams said they nearly kept him on the Opening Day roster - and he never played a minute in the majors.
