Evidently at one time some of their logos only had black... I found those on a website that has vintage college logos and there were two or three that only used black... Maybe were some sort of alternate logo back in the day...

I'm trying to fill in some of the remaining holes I have among Negro League and international uniforms, and right now the biggest gap is probably the Japanese League of the '50s and '60s. Is it okay if I request a few of those, little by little? (Not worried about accuracy, just that they "look the part".)
So... the Chunichi Dragons? With an alt for the brief period they spent as the Nagoya Dragons? |
