They are not on tnfoto's Missing Players List:

Jack Neagle (1883)
Al McCauley (1890)
Mike Kilroy (1891)
Bill Wolff (1902)
Bill Culp (1910)

Here are some McCauley options. Note that both Neagle (1879 debut)and Kilroy (1888 debut) are on the Missing Player List.

I guess I didn't notice that two of the other three players had made their major league debuts with other teams before coming to the Phillies and they ARE on the Missing Players List.

I found a photo of 1902 Phillies pitcher, Bill Wolfe from Baseball Prospectus also when I realized I had been mispelling his last name as Wolff.
That solves the status of the five players I had been asking about:
Found photos of 3 players
2 others have no known photos or sketches (on Missing Players List).

The latest SABR research confirms that his name is actually Wolff, although some sources still list him as "Wolfe." The image at BaseballProspectus.com and in the Facepack is unconfirmed. I have replaced the Facepack with this confirmed image from Marc Okkonen's 2000 Cups of Coffee while I continue to either verify the old Facepack image or find a clearer verifiable image.

All of Hodgson's minor league cards (1980, 82 & 83 TCMA Knoxville) are B&W. This is the only color Blue Jays image I'm aware of.

Pitcher Virgil Trucks passed away yesterday about one month shy of his 96th birthday. He won 177 games, with 124 Complete Games and 33 Shut Outs between 1941 and 1958, with 1944 and 1945 lost to military service. He came back from the Navy to pitch his first game in two years on the final day of the 1945 season to help the Tigers clinch the American League pennant and then limited the Cubs to one run for a Complete Game victory in Game Two of the World Series. Trucks was a two-time all-star, with one 20 win season, two 19 win seasons, and he once pitched two no-hitters in one year (1952). At the end of his MLB career he became an effective reliever, notching 30 Saves.
