It might not be a player just a bat boy.

He was, in fact, fired as Yankees batboy because he "wouldn't go in for the hoo-do stuff." Translation: Mars might've been the first batboy to say he was just there to handle the bats and not as a good luck charm

During his ill-fated second comeback with the '75 Red Sox. Only the third image I've ever seen of him in color in the 1975 uniform, and wildly adjusted to compensate for the disastrous shadowing.

This is missing from a lot of collections and files. Hermoso spent 1974 as a Cleveland infielder, and here he is - but this photograph was definitely taken in April, 1975, at the same time Hermoso was supposedly in the Mexican League.

This is part of a group of a dozen or so Indians players posed in the same lighting, tree growth behind the outfield, etc. The Shea scoreboard is seen in many images, fully lit up, showing both teams' batting orders and even the out-of-town scoreboard. There is no question this photo - and the others like the Berry previously posted - was taken on Monday night, April 28, 1975.

Hermoso was in camp with Cleveland in '75, but he was not listed on the opening day roster. So was he recalled from the Mexican League and just didn't get into any games? Or is this not Hermoso, but another player who didn't get into any games for Cleveland in 1975 and just happens to look incredibly like Hermoso?

I'm betting on the former.

The Frank_Mahar image in the Facepack and on Mahar's B-R.com page is the same image used for Tom_Maher in both the Facepack and B-R.com. The photo actually shows Frank Mahar with the Albany, NY-area State Printers semi-pro team in 1902.

A corrected photo for Tom Maher, with the 1906 Worcester Busters is shown below. He is identified as "Meagher" in the photo and although B-R.com has a listing for "A. Meagher" on Worcester's team page, newspaper accounts make it clear that Worcester infielder Meagher is actually Maher.
