Online League Massive Export Files and Coach.dat

We are in an online league and some of our export files are now going over 1GB in size. Also our coach.dat file has ballooned from 6mb to over 2.6GB since we imported into ootp 24. It is now almost impossible to sim a day even.

Can you post a link to your files from before you imported into 24 and your current files so we can check this out and compare the two and figure out what might be going on here? Thanks!

Just a note, but I guess you might be able to replace the bloated coach.dat file with another one from before it got bloated and continue on (just make sure everything is backed up in case this doesn't work).

The league commisioners did try but the sim wouldn't run and they got a database problem error. One of them also tried a purge deleted data but that didn't help either.

Can you post the whole save file here? All your .dat files, not just the coaches file. Both the 23 and 24 files.

Sorry this is coming from multiple people but also most of our league members cannot see any transactions in the league transaction report after we imported to OOTP 24.

I am a commissioner in this league, and wanted to follow-up with any news. Our hope is that our bloated coaches.dat file can be "trimmed" by someone at OOTP, and then with the latest patches, we'd be safe to continue forward.

This league has been running as a daily sim since 2015 in real-time, and we are hoping to get moving again soon. We're loving OOTP 24 so far, and can't wait to get back to it.

This issue is fixed in the new patch. If you update, when you save it, it should automatically shrink down to a more workable size. You may want to go through and manually delete the IAFA training camp invite lists from each teams to pare it down more.

Sorry for piggybacking onto this, but our league (PEBA) is having the same issue with league transactions, minus the coach bloating issue. Since migrating to '24, our league transactions are not getting uploaded with the rest of our files each upload. They run fine in-game for whoever is running the sim, but don't get uploaded for everyone else. I don't have our v23 file to compare to, but it seems like the League Transactions files just aren't getting included in the archive when it's created before uploading. The HTML > Leagues folder that does get included in the archive only has pre-season predictions in it.

So this problem is very intriguing, because not only are we experiencing this as Dylan described - all leagues in the universe are not updating - and when I tried to manually add them to a backup (as a test), the game wrote over the added file. I do have our v23 file as a comparison, but I can't see anywhere where we may be missing a click or something.

For an online league this appears to be a significant bug!
