Looks like one player by season give me trouble... this time it's Jack Whillock. I'm force to do too much image manipulations because every pictures of him I found are full of shadows and the result is a bit too generic for my taste (as you can see in the picture). Could you give him a try Lans?
BTW I think I finally reach your starting point since many players FG are already in your pack ![]()

Jack Whillock
Jack Whillock, 79, of Arlington, Texas, passed away December 20, 2021. He was born in Searcy, Arkansas on November 4, 1942. Jack graduated from Clinton High School and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas. Jack was married to Mary Whillock for 27 years. He had a career in professional baseball for 11 years before working in sales for Sewell Automotive Companies. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at the University of Arkansas and had a passion for baseball, all sports, and warm beaches. - digitalmemories.com
As a 28-year-old, he appeared in what was the entirety of his career during the Summer of 1971, seven games total, going 0-2 with a 5.63 earned run average in eight innings of work. Sadly, for him he wouldn't make it back to a Big-League mound again, toiling another three years in the Minors before calling it quits after the 1974 season, when he played in the Cleveland Indians system. All told, he put in 11 years as a pro, originally in the St. Louis Cardinals organization in 1964, but alas a Major Leaguer for just those seven games in August and September of 1971. - whentoppshadballs.com Having spent some time this morning researching him, he was clearly beloved by his family. They were kind enough to upload many pictures. To get the image I sought (the Tiger's picture) I used a photo of him after his playing days and removed the mustache.

Bryan Ramos
Scouting grades: Hit: 50 | Power: 55 | Run: 50 | Arm: 55 | Field: 55 | Overall: 50
Ramos thrived in Cuba's 15-and-under league for two years before leaving the island, eventually signing with the White Sox for $300,000 in July 2018. He came to the United States for his pro debut the following summer and has been one of the system's most promising hitters ever since. A groin injury cost him most of the first two months of the 2023 season, but he returned to hit .271/.369/.457 with 14 homers in 77 Double-A games at age 21. Though he's aggressive and repeatedly has been young for his leagues, Ramos has shown the ability to hit the ball hard and drive it in the air throughout his pro career. His right-handed stroke has bat speed and loft and combines with his strength to create at least plus raw power, and he's able to tap into most of it. He has enough feel for the barrel to become a solid hitter as well if he can curb a tendency to chase pitches out of the strike zone. The White Sox love Ramos' makeup as much as his physical ability, and he has worked hard to improve his strength, speed and flexibility since turning pro. He has turned himself into an average runner and will flash solid speed once he gets going, though he's somewhat conservative on the bases. He has enhanced his range as well, becoming a solid defender at third base with arm strength to match, though his throwing accuracy can be inconsistent. -mlb.com I'm trying to get an updated pack out in the next 48 hours, but every time I think I am ready, there is one more debut or prospect that I look at that needs revision. Ramos debuted the other day. I apologize for this "before" facegen still existing. I wish I could audit the old CUF pack files for quality more quickly.

Thanks for Jack Whillock! Goddamn that Ramos FG was scary... zombie, teeth and weird purple tint this was a perfect exemple of "sometimes nothing is better than something" and what not to do.

I wonder if someone can help. Thanks for this pack btw it's awesome.
I have it all working but some of the players show zoomed in on face and some show zoomed out showing more of their shirt. I've messed with the options to change them to zoomed in or out but they still show as a mix of both. Is this fixable? |

If you use fictional facegens to augment the pack, an easier approach might be to go to the Game Settings once you are playing the game, then the facegen subheader tab, and there should be a button to update all the facegens. Mine is grayed out as I have the first setting, top left to None so I see only ones with facegen files and no fictional ones. So, I’ve never hit the button, but presume the update button is for the purpose I described. Lastly, and for certain this works as I zoom in and back to normal often is, go to the Player Editor tab, picture functions, halfway down left side and select auto refresh. So that’s an approach to deal with them as you see them. Thx for the kind words on behalf of AESP and myself. A new pack should release shortly!

Here's a post where I laid out how to do it for a given save:
https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=355363 Even though the OP in thread was clearing the facegens to swap to photos, the logic is the same. It clears the cache by deleting those old png files and will generate new ones with the newly installed pack instead. If you use fictional facegens too, my steps for deleting things in the .lg folder cache may clear those out too, so try the options of Game Settings>Facegen>update first if you are attached to any fictional faces.

Game settings / Facegen and click "force update generate player pictures" should do the trick...
Lans replied at the same time and his answer is way more detailed than mine ![]()

If that doesn't work... just delete all the picture in that folder and the game will create new one with the new FGs when the player will need a picture in the game.
Obviously the lg folder is the name you used for your saved league...

Dominic Pipkin
RHP Dominic Pipkin — 23 years old — drafted in 9th round of the 2018 draft from Pinole Valley HS, Pinole, CA
2023 Stats : began the season on the IL with elbow soreness and was stationed at the complex to work with the rehab team — pitched in five rehab games in late June and early July with the FCL Phillies and Clearwater Threshers before being activated on AA Reading’s roster on 7/4/23. Made 18 relief appearances for Reading accumulating 19.2 innings and posted a 3.66 ERA with 23 strikeouts and 7 walks. Opponents hit .222 against him, had a 1.17 WHIP and averaged 16.78 pitches per inning pitched with a 63 % strike ratio. Was selected to participate in the Arizona Fall League and made three appearances, 0.00 ERA, 2.2 IP, 1.13 WHIP, 2 K’s, 1 BB. He’s converted from being a starter earlier in his career, still has a starter’s mix with a cutter, slider and change up but it’s the velo that makes him standout as a back end reliever — 99 to 100 mph fastballs that rise aren’t generally sneaky but they are indeed good. Dominic’s reflections : “My biggest takeaway is to be the best version of myself on (and off) of the field — doesn’t matter the situation, go out and give everything I possibly can. And my off season focus is going to be overall strength in my upper body.” Pitching Coordinator Travis Hergert : “Power arm that seems to perform better out of the bullpen. He’s developed a harder slider/cutter pitch for off speed and a solid changeup.” 2024 Projection : a return to Reading as part of the back end of the bullpen with a chance to climb the ladder. - philliesinsider via Medium Discord request for better fg. Hard to tell why. I can't wait to have the time to just go through and delete some of the stuff in there once I transfer from the dead/suplicate file part of the pack audit to the quality part.

Thanks for Mike Howard!
So, as we head into late June, who is the hottest team in MLB? Not the Angels, they've only been playing .500 ball of late. (Of course, when you start 28-2 and 40-10, .500 the rest of the way should be enough.) No, it's your New York Mets, proud owners of a 9-game win streak! Thus lifting them all the way to…25-40. (Yikes) They now find themselves only two games behind the Cubs, and in danger of blowing that #1 draft pick and thus, Darryl Strawberry. (They are already ahead of the A's, Jays, and Padres.) Meanwhile, the Cubs (once 22-20) have dropped 17 out of 21. It is, unsurprisingly, the pitching. Mike Thompson (proud possessor of a 7.48 ERA) is certainly not the solution in the pen, so the Cubs are supplementing their 32nd-round pick (Thompson) with their 35th-round pick, Richard Renwick. (Of course, neither player should be available, as the 1979 draft only took place on June 5th, but I'm not going to try and pull 1000+ players out of the database.) Renwick went to the baseball powerhouse that is Babson College, where he had a double major in Finance and Management. IRL, he had a fine season in rookie ball in 1979, did even better for Quad Cities in 1980, and then apparently got hurt in 1981, ending his career. He then put that degree to good work, founding PRW Wealth Management, which means he has now pursued the two quintessentially American careers: baseball and Greed. But that's in the future. All that matters in the game is that, since Renwick was on the same Quad Cities team as Thompson, he has a card from the same set: ![]() |

Lans I know you did Eddie Bane back in 2021 but you didn't put him in your pack (I guess like me you think that the teeth are too visible)... could you give him another try since you use much better tools now than three years ago and his glasses give me a lot of trouble (in fact I can't produce anything worthy of being included in the pack for him).

(Mostly OT)
The Mets' winning streak has now reached 13 and they've passed the Cubs for 5th place. The most recent W came when Nino Espinosa and Skip Lockwood blew a 9-0 lead (!) against a failing Cardinals squad that has now dropped 7 straight. However, Lockwood got out of a 1-out, man-on-3rd jam in the bottom of the 9th, and the Mets won it with 7 more runs (the hell??) in the top of the 12th. The METS? The 1979 METS? Also, the Red Sox are back to .500 (Jim Rice had a 4 HR game), and, of actual import, I have another request lined up once you're done with Renwick, above. [/OT] |
