crashing problems and video cards

I have OOTP6 and had no problems until I installed a new video card (Radeon ATI). After this happened, my game began crashing. It loads fine, and does not give me any problems during roster moves, etc. It also does fine during game play (playing an actual game, rather than simming an entire game). The problem occurs when I try to make a roster move during a game. As soon as I click on my team's name to make a move, the screen goes blank, then there is a system crash. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Make sure you use the most up to date video drivers available.

They are the most recent video drivers installed.
