What are the mechanics of OOTP regarding player development?
Do players develop better in the minors than in the majors? Is this a matter of being at the right level? Is this just a matter of playing? Is it a matter of meeting with success? In other words, if I have a talented but only half developed player, how will it affect his development if he is sitting on the major league bench? If he is playing but playing poorly in the majors? If he is playing well?

He will have a better chance at developing playing in AAA. If you get the message he's ready for the pros, I'd bring him up even if he does not play full time.

After playing a year in Triple A I had a prospect named Craig Perez, and he came up into the Majors and played 49 games smashing 16 homers and stealing 21 bases.
I'd say Triple A is a developmental force lol. |
