Importing from v6.5

I am having trouble looking something up.

Importing from v6.5 to v2006...is that good to go? Or will there be issues?

If someone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

These are questions a friend of mine has. They are more detailed.

Forgive me if this has already been answered. I did a search for information related to importing OOTP 6.5 leagues into OOTP 2006 and couldn't find quite what I was looking for. So here are my questions:

Exactly what data will be transferred when an OOTP 6.5 league is imported into OOTP 2006? Obviously ratings, player info (birthdate, "handedness", etc.), past stats. But what about past award winners? Or past champions? And will league/team records be imported? And will player cards still show times the player was in the top 10 in a particular category in a past season?

From what I gather, most info will transfer EXCEPT that which was in a text file in the prior version (player history pages, etc).

Does anyone know if the career stats for retired players will be transferred to OOTP2006 when a league is converted from 6.5? I'm asking because of their place on the career leader boards of leagues that have been running for several seasons.

I am assuming that the career stats of active players will be transferred, so they will be on the leader boards. But retired players is a question that I was wondering about.

I'm in an online league that is just finishing our 12th season and many of the career leaders are either retired or likely to retire in the next couple of seasons, so this would be a big deal for our league.
