Definite Bug in News Section

Monday 4/12/2007: Williams () wins P.O.W. award
It's the 0th time that the GBPA Player of the Week award goes to He hit .519 with 3 RBI and slugged .741 in 27 at bats.He hit in every game this week and extended his hitting streak to 14 games. Williams has walked 3 times this year and posts a .465 OBP. While batting .425, 17 for 40, he has driven in 3 runs. He's 4th in the GBPA in batting!

No, if I am right this would definitely be a different bug. The variable in my example counts the number of times the individual player won the award, whereas your example counts the number of times in league history any player has achieved the accomplishment. It would be extremely strange if the values were stored in the same variable. In fact, it is almost impossible with good design.

However, I must say, the speed at which you replied to my post is very impressive. I also cannot believe you dug that post out of the archives so quickly. Very good! <img>

Edit: Oops. I did not see your message that said "See post #4." Well, I saw it, I just did not mentally process it to mean "Look at the comments in the fourth post of the thread." My apologies!

actually, it's the same one. Post# 4 in the link says that pitcher was awarded the award for the 0th time (of course, it also pointed out another bug where the player's name was left blank).

That bug is still not fixed either?

I noticed in that other bug the person said part of the print-out said, "...the best player of the week..." If that is a print-out anywhere, then that is a cosmetic bug because best player of the week is poor use of the English language. If he is the player of the week, it is assumed he is the best. This is akin to saying "He is being paid 6 million annually per year."
