OOTP Freezing?

I've been getting the OOTP6 freezing up on me during a play by play game (only noticed it happening here) recently, I've reinstalled the game, plus I have the latest sound and graphics drivers available.

Any help would be appreciated.

windows 2000 pro (pack4), radeon 9800 pro, realtek audio, 512 ram, 1.1 amd processer, 120 gb hd, directx 9c.

Disable the in-game sound.

Have you tried putting in the sun. Even if it's cloudy out, sometimes that will warm it up.

More than likely one of the following is the problem:

-The same position is listed twice in the lineup.
-The same player is listed twice in the lineup.
-One position is missing.
-An "injured" pitcher is scheduled to start a game.

Steve, nope, everything is correct with the lineups, it doesn't happen every game just enough to spoil the enjoyment.
