The ABC - 1991 Historical League

The American Baseball Congress is a new historical league. The league started in 1971, using Ankit's revised Lahman 5.2 database. 1971-1990 were simmed to generated 20 years of history because the league will only be using talent ratings, actuals will be turned off. The leagues consists of 20 fictional teams, in cities that had baseball teams in 1970.

At the start of the 1991 season, all of the players have been released and will take part in an auction style intial draft. Details concerning the intial draft auction can be found here.

All of the finances will be equalized, putting everyone on a level playing field to start in 1991.

With 20 years of history, there are players eligible for the Hall of Fame. The ABC Hall of Fame will be elected by the league owners.

Guys, this is going to be a fantastic league.

Matt has put together a solid core of owners already and he's spent alot of time planning this league.

Its going to be great fun and the added years of history is another plus!!

Get in while you can so you, too, can whip Spleen on a yearly basis!!
