Help with modifying roster set

I have an idea that I want to pursue for a solo league, possibly turning into a dynasty if I can get it to work. I won't go into all the details, but what I'm looking to do is to take just the minor league players from a current roster set (like Halofan's) and put them into a new league. Is there any easy way to accomplish this?

It can be done, but not easily.

Do you want the minor leaguers to be on the same teams that they are on now, or do you plan to release them all and then do a fantasy draft for them? It can be done either way.

If you're playing pre-1947 American baseball, then the All-American Mod (a namefiles/ethnicites/nation/cities file pack) is for you.

I'll be releasing and re-drafting. I started last night just releasing the 25-man rosters player-by-player and then plan to delete the free agent pool when done. Is there a better way?

No, not really.
