Battle for Sound re-visited...

Hey gang,

I know others have had major problems with sound crashing the game...

Whats odd is....

One of my leagues runs fine with sound (league I created CBL roster)

however..

a fictional league that originated back to OOTP5 that I just started playing always crashes at the end of a game with sound on. With sound off its fine....


Any ideas why one league works fine with sound, and one crashed with it on???

problem is with the dmusic.dll file..

hrm...

interesting..

I just installed direct X newest version (I believe 9.0c?)

Then re-installed the most up-to-date OOTP patch...

restarted cpu..

Now both leagues sound works fine...

Not sure if this might help others...

It will work for about 5-10 games and then crash. Trust me.

Back up that league now.
