AL West Slugfest
Well, if the first two weeks of the season are any indication this is gonna be a knock 'em out dog fight til the end.
All four teams have six wins with the Rangers having 7 losses being the only team not tied for first place.

I still think the Angels will come out on top, but the division should play out interestingly. The Mariners are improved and should do some damage (at least more than last season), but I suspect they'll drip down to the cellar. Between the Rangers and A's for second place, I'd probably take the A's, simply because they have the better pitching. Offensively, the Rangers are the better team, but unless they add an arm, it's going to be difficult trying to out score everyone.
Final Predicted Standings: Angels Athletics Rangers Mariners

A's was 9th in run scored, but 5th in OPS+, and they improved more offesively than the Rangers.

Another look at the Rangers last year: 12th in runs scored in road games, and 5th in runs allowed in road games.
An above average pitching team, and a below average hitting team! Pitching was the reason for their success!
