I'll say 30-35 again. Even if it's shorter, I'll still say it.

Loftons eya hand cordination is better than Garciaparra's.
So I predict he'll hit over 30. If not, he'll probably end up bustin someone's ear with his hand. |

The fact that the choice of "56 or more" has as many votes as all other choices combined really lends to the theory that all Internet Polls are as worthless as World Series ticket reservations at Wrigley Field.

yeah, it should be doing better than that. Lofton is a man of destiny, it's obvious. I just checked his astrological chart.

Thank God there's so many idiots in the world. Otherwise I'd have nothing to laugh at.

Oh yeah. And I forgot - the moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter's aligned with Mars.

How do you like that, he took today off...
"Lofton said he could use a breather, not so much because he was hurting physically but he was exhausted mentally." Now the Pirates have a scheduled off day tomorrow. Seems more likely he didn't want to face Mark Prior today. I vote the streak ends in St. Louis this weekend.

It doesn't matter if Walter Johnson was on the mound, Lofton's hand-eye coordination is so good he would have got a hit off anyway today if hew were not so mentally exhausted.

I was kinda surprised that he is just 2 games away from tying the Pirates club record throughout history the Pirates have had some really good hitters, so I would of figured that their club record was higher than 27 games
