? about logo designs ?

Just had a quick question about logo designing. I found that I have a trial period on my new computer for Paint Shop Pro 8. I've been kind of messing around with it and I can't figure out how to get the writing on the bottom of a circle to face the correct way, it's always backword. Anyway if anybody can help me with this or any other logo pointers I would appreciate it.

click the button on the left, just below the 'shapes' button. then hover over the edge of the circle, right click-->edit-->reverse path

I'm apparently not following some step between this message, the manual, and the help files. I managed to do it once, accidentally - i.e. I don't know what I did to make it happen.

After inserting the text as usual, I hit the Pen tool but can't find any place along the path that allows the Reverse Path option to be active. It's greyed out. I'll wait for your response before I rattle on any further. btw, I'm using 9.

Okay, I can manage to get the Reverse Path by copying the original ellipse, but when I select the text it appears inside the circle instead of outside of it. I figure if I can overcome this obstacle then it's simply a matter of merging the two together to create the final image. Am I anywhere close to understanding this?

I'm in the same boat. I really like the way that the circle logos look and would like to try some. But I can get the writing where I want but not how I want. I tried the pen sign but it didn't do a thing for me. I'll keep trying. Any other help would be appreciated.
