The Laseron Baseball Association (LBA) has one opening.

The Sobtec Bay Sea Kings of the LBA are currently open.

The LBA has been around for a few years, and we are starting our 13th season. We expanded to 20 teams last season and Sobtec Bay was one of the expansion teams, so they are still at the bottom of the pack and will need a few seasons to build. They do have a couple of good prospects, including this years second overall pick Craig "Hammer" Bressler.

The LBA is a fictional league that takes place in Laseron -- a very real world for some of our owners. We use Cato to track all of our stats.

We sim one week on Mondays, one week on Wednesdays and 2 weeks on Saturdays. If you are interested, take a quick look at our rules and drop me a line or two.

Opening Day is tonight for the 1913 season!!!!

Thanks
Sean

Great league, run in a superb and professional manner, wonderful backstory and alternate history in a fictional world, involved owners who breathe life into the league via message board articles, and a lousy owner in Firun City who thinks he can contend each year so is extremely vulnerable to getting ripped off in trades.

I know the history of some of the league's stars better than that of MLB players. If your writing style equals that of the Bard, please apply now! If not, you can still apply and run the team As You Like It.

Oh, that reminds me. I've got an offer for you.

Seriously though, the LBA is a great league and the owners are a great bunch of guys. We made use of the live broadcast feature during the playoffs last season and like Dagrims mentioned, we've got some good writers in the league who write some good articles.

Oh, we also don't kick people out for making trades to cut payroll.

WARNING: We don't have a VP of Operations in this league! What's the deal with that?

But seriously.. Great league! Great people!

Is this team still open? It's been almost five hours.

This is a great league. I've been privileged to GM the Summerwind Seagulls for about six seasons now, and I've had a terrific time.

I highly recommend the LBA.

The LBA is about to start it's 15th season, and we have an opening.

The Firun City Steeldogs have a need for a good owner.

They won the championship two years ago and although they missed the playoffs last season, they are still in pretty good shape.

Our first sim of the 1914 season is tonight! Please browse over our rules and drop me a line if you are interested. If you are looking for a quality fictional league, this is the one.

If you're into fictional leagues this is one to check out. We have a good bunch of writers. We have fun in the discussion boards. It's a lot of good competition. And the commishes are very good. The former GM left this team in pretty good shape. For a 1914 team preview, i'll try to do a scout's view of the team later tonight. But in the meantime...

Home uniforms look like this:

Road uniforms look like this:

Take a tour of the league!

Yes, it was too bad, he was a great owner and a fun guy to have in the league.
