Batch Thumps Uitility

Is it possible to convert the jpeg files to bmp's without renaming then and if tyes how do you do it?

it's been a while since I used Batch Thumbs, but it's definitely possible to convert without renaming.

I think what you have to do is check the copy/convert files button, then select the "qualifier as prefix (or suffix)" and then make sure the qualifier box (defaults to "image") is blank.

like I said, it's been a while, but I think that's it.

I have a little program called irfanview that will do it. You might do a search on Google for it.

yeah, I should have mentioned that - I think irfanview is even easier to use than BatchThumbs

Yep, remove 'Image' or whatever it says from the 'output file qualifier' box (so that its blank) and check that qualfier as prefix with file name is selected, and you should be good to go.
