yeah we still need more owners.
hmmm, lets see here, I suppose I should put the standard info . www.corporatebaseball.us companies instead of cities we now sim 7days per sim every even day. mix of real & fictional players. started the league in 1980, currently in june of 1982 insane commish inhouse logo guru (pepe) some new featurs coming online soon (hurry back pepe!) New owners may change team names everybody gets a supercool @corporatebaseball.us email Do you like to write articles? great we would love to read them, but most of us are to busy/lazy to get around to typing something out. The league currently has mostly older farts with lives so things can be pretty quiet at times but then break out in a flurry of activity. Playboy Coors so if you want a no pressure but competitive league where you can participate how ever much you have time for, this is the one for you. post in our forums if you are interested. www.corporatebaseball.us The 2 time champs look to be faltering this season, can you be the new champ?

100 games in & i figured what the hell maybe I'll do a CLB update.
for those of you new to the CLB, writing is not my strong suit. And you add that to my hate of typing.........ahhh you'll see Capitalist League Robber Barron Division Willy Wonka 59 41 .590 - Enron 53 47 .530 6 Goldman 45 55 .450 14.0 Boeing 39 61 .390 20.0 The Bottlecaps, lead by a group of OOTP newbies, hold a small but solid lead. Maybe the best staff in the league. Rookie wade boggs is making a huge impact but his defense is suspect at third. I suggested that they move one of those other first basemen, but it looks like them not listening to me paid off. The rats are rudderless and the only offensive star is ex-hacker Ben Oglivie. The pitching staff is solid if unspectacular lead be Pascual Perez. Goldman Sachs......well what do I say. I don't really see them having a chance at pulling a playoff spot. I hope they prove me wrong Boeing----------- oh they are just terrible so nevermind Fat Cat Division Exxon 52 48 .520 - Coors 49 51 .490 3.0 Shell Oil 48 52 .480 4.0 Starbucks 48 52 .480 4.0 well I see we have a playoff race. With exxon under new management & they are the 2 time CL chumps...errr, champs. I would have to give them the nod. I expect this division comes down to who loses less rather than who wins more.. sorry guys. Aristocrat Division Ford 59 41 .590 - Coca Cola 56 44 .560 3.0 Disney 41 59 .410 18.0 Worldcom 41 59 .410 18.0 Ford has made a nice recovery this season, Disney has dropped off the cliff & Coke & worldcom on in their usual spots. I really look forward to watching this battle go down to the wire. Capitalist League predictions Robber Barron Division Willy Wonka Fat Cat Division Exxon Aristocrat Division Coke wildcard Ford ************************************** Executive League Mogul Division Nokia 59 41 .590 - UPS 50 50 .500 9.0 Marlboro 45 55 .450 14.0 Wal~Mart 42 58 .420 17.0 Nokia has an average pitching staff, a great offensive outfield. they do have a nice lead, but with UPS having a new GM and being loaded with talent they have what it takes to make a run over the final 70 games. 2 time CLB champ Marlboro has flushed their season down the toilet. Wal~Mart still sux. Tycoon Division Death by Design 59 41 .590 - Cisco 52 48 .520 7.0 Playboy 48 52 .480 11.0 Fool Inc 40 60 .400 19.0 The hackers grabbed an early lead, the question is can their sorry pitching staff hold up now that some competition has moved in? Cisco is solid but has holes, playboy needs and owner And some fool picked up a last place team. I guess the question is can Cisco play spoiler? Kingpin Division Sony 60 40 .600 - Time Warner 54 46 .540 6.0 LockeedMartin 52 48 .520 8.0 SBC 49 51 .490 11.0 Sony took off when pepe was gone for a month, I guess that speaks volumes for his GMing skillz Carney Lansford & Harold Baines are having monster years & the pitching staf is above average for the EL. Time And LM are close enogh to pose a challenge But is Ceasar Cedeno enough to put time in the playoffs or can the maurders suspect pitching get some bailing wire and Bubble gum and keep things together long enogh to make a run? SBC is on the outside looking in, but they do have a long shot.Executive League predictions Mogul Division Nokia Tycoon Division Death by Design Kingpin Division Sony wildcard Cisco Mark it down! told you I hate typing bump
