Setting Date for Forum New Posts

I looked around, but didn't find any setting that can be altered to allow for viewing the forums as new from a particular date. That is, is there anywhere I can say, reset a date so that any posts from that day forward appear new and unread?

I don't think you can do that with this board software, but I'm new to it.
