Getting a new hard drive ...

I'm planning on getting a new hard drive for my laptop and I was wondering ...

Can I just copy my OOTP6 directory from the old hard drive to the new hard drive?

or

Do I have to a complete re-install of the software on the new hard drive? If this is the case what do I have to copy over from the old install to insure that my leagues still run correctly?

Game should probably be reinstalled, leagues can just be copied over.
