CPU going over the cap
In my most recent free agency session I had two CPU teams go over the cap. How can this happen? Or what can I do to fix it?

Teams can go over the cap because of extensions and arbitration awards. The problem is then the team will not be able to draft free agents in the next pool or to sign any first year players to contracts with signing bonuses......
In a league with a salary cap it is common to see 2 or 3 teams over the cap in any given year after the arbitratation awards are given out.....This usually doesn't happen until a league is about 10-20 season old though......... |

well this is my first season, and to try it out I tried to make a trade that would put me over the cap by 9 million and it let me do it. Is there something I am missing?

It's probably been a problem since the first OOTP and will continue to be a problem. |
