Player Histories
Is there anywat to clear them????? Or at least delete portions of them that are strange. Like when the AI trades a player, and then two days later releases him, only to resign him the next day, and trade him back to his original team, from which he is promptly released, and signed by a third team, which then trades him back to the team that originally traded for him, and then is finally released and signed to a minor league contract by me.

I was wondering about this as well. I have a couple players who went down with career ending injuries and I would like to bring them back but not quite sure how to do it. Also I would like to be able to edit their histories, but how do you bring up indivdual players in a text editor? Any help would be great!
Thanks! |

To edit a player's history, first you need to know his game ID number. An easy way to find this is on his player page in the game to enable his photo with no such file actually being in the Photos folder of the .lg folder for the league. In the photo box will be something like "file not found: pXXXX.bmp". That "XXXX" is the player ID number. The file "pXXXX.txt" in the Players folder of the League_News_Box folder of the league's .lg folder will be the history for the player. Open it with a text editor and do with it what you will. It can even be deleted, in which case it will be recreated anew (without the old information) when the game next goes to write to it.

One more quick question on this topic,
When you unretire a player, does he leave the retired players section, or does it just create a copy of the player and place him in the free agent pool? |
