Buster,

It was tested many days, but trust me when I say that it is not easy to test or patch and product and things can crop up out of nowhere sometimes that were never detected.

The patch was tested quite a bit... I have only read one real bug report (albeit a major one) the reason that but likely slipped through was two fold:

a) it just showed up as a factor of some other fixes Markus made
b) the testing for this patched focused on long term simming of the financial, tickets, and player development engines, as a result the postseason results were not focused on and that bug slipped through.

Sorry if a bug slipped through, but we are only human, we are volunteers, and we miss things from time to time. Sorry if you feel we let you down.

Buster:

There's no way these guys can catch everything, or look at every angle. That's what I'm here for.

In all seriousness, I get the impression serious attention was given to testing. Some things are always gonna get missed.

Thanks for the words of encouragement Sky. It is a bummer to diligently test only to have something this frustrating slip through cause we were focusing elsewhere. We'll get it taken care of.

Buster - you must have gotten confused about what board you're posting on. This isn't the High Heat board, where problems with the game remain broken for years. This is the OOTP board, and I'm pretty sure the problem will be corrected LONG before you see the first (and probably only) patch for HH2K3.

Edit: Well I see it has already been fixed. How's that for customer support for ya? You just don't see this kind of devotion from the big game companies.

Are the bugs in the 4b patch fixed ALREADY? I wouldnt expect even Markus and the OOTP crew to fix a bug that quick.
