Recommended League Totals for the 2005 MLB season?

Does anyone have any recommended league totals to put in for the 2005 season, using HaloFan's MLB rosters?

But definitely don't use SkyDog's league totals for a 2005 season.... they are meant to be the composite modern era, from 1980 to the present. The home runs, and scoring in general, would be much lower than what can be realistically expected for the present.

Don't be so sure. Hitting stats are likely to go down this year. Steroid testing, remember.

Actually, in all seriousness I wouldn't be surprised to see a return to the days of 40HR and 120 RBI being guaranteed MVP numbers. If that happens this year, companies that release games this spring might have to think about readjusting stats as the season plays out.

Scheurholz came out in the AJC just today and admitted that he and Braves' management have suspected several Braves of steriod use. I'm betting it was quite rampant.

I would like to see the effect - I suspect it will be minimal at best, almost akin to that of corked bats- its more helpful from a psychological standpoint than a physical one.

This might be the only year were releasing a baseball game in fall might be a good idea.

I suppose then that Giambi suffered a mental meltdown prior to last season.
