I don't know much about Eastman.
I'll say Hopkins by UD. |

Is Hopkins the better fighter - Yes, no doubt.
But this is one of those fights where everything lines up for a possible Eastman Dec (or a Hopkins Dec that is loudly questioned). |

I will take Hopkins by TKO(most likely cuts or swelling) in the late rounds. Say 9th round.

Eventually age will catch up with Hopkins, I don't believe he will retire as champ. I doubt this will be the fight because he really wants that 20th.

I'm waiting for the age factor to kick in also...well, not really waiting, more like dreading it, but keeping my fingers crossed for him.
As far as Eastman goes...I also don't know much about him and other than Joppy (L 12) or Hassine Cherifi (W-TKO 9), don't know any of his opponents either. I think the Joppy bout was his only one outside of England too. I'll go with B-Hop, UD 12. |

I'm hoping Taylor gets by Edouard and then the age factor kicks in during a Taylor-Hopkins fight.
Of course then Erick would say "What did Taylor prove he beat a 41 year old man" LOL. But being a boxing fan I know that being a fan of an up-and-comer can all change in one fight. The perfect example (for the above 30 crowd) is Camacho. He was tearing up everyone he faced including KO's of Limon and Solis, then Rosario beat his ass and he was never the same. That's when he started running. Same with Hamed, I loved the whole package because he backed up all the **** he talked. Then Barrera beat him and he was gone. So I know full well Taylor is one bad fight away from disappearing. |

Talking about a fighter who was never the same after one fight, how about David Reid after he fought Tito? Maybe Reid was never that good anyway but Tito sure took the stuffing out of him in that fight.
The worst one may have been what Chavez did to Taylor. |

I'll say both fighters are down atleast once with Eastman down more than once. Still see it as a ud win for Hopkins.

Meldrick Taylor was the worst one...sniff...I can almost cry over what happened to him.
As for tomorrow, Hopkins UD at worst; TKO in second half of bout at best. Either way I can't see him losing. |
