3 Grand Slams

Anybody ever see this in a game? In my solo league a guy named Matt Brooks hit 3 grandslams and broke the single game record for RBIs with 16... I could'nt believe this guy, everytime he got up to bat he was getting atleast 2 RBIs..It was crazy! Anybody ever had a player do something like this in a game?

By the way the player who did it is a mediocre player and at the end of the season he only ended up with a .259 BA 12 HR and 57 RBI.

25% of his homeruns and 29% of his RBI from a single game.

Insane

The incredible part about Tatis' two Grand Slams in the same inning was that they were both off the same pitcher. I mean who leaves a guy in a game long enough to get back around to the same batter with the bases loaded again. That is the one part of that feat that I believe makes it very unlikely to be reproduced ever again. The two slams in an inning may be done again as unlikely as that is but I doubt it will ever again be two slams off the same pitcher.

Don't forget Chris Hoiles, Bill Muller, and Tony Cloninger.

Crazy as it sounds Cloninger was a pitcher who accomplished the feat.

Indeed.

I was watching that game.

Of course, I was also watching the Chan Ho/Belcher jumpkick game so you can't say he wasn't good for some entertainment.

I've only seen 3 HR's in a game. Haven't seen 4 or even 2 salamis in a game. The most RBI, if I remember, was either 8 or 9. I'm pretty sure I've never seen 10.

There is hope Vezna, I just saw my first 4 HR game by a player of mine in over 5,000 games. It was the 3rd overall of my league.
